The full story (for grown-ups)

Mithu loved to fly inside Amma's hut. Zoom! Zoom! Round and round he went, faster and faster.

CRASH! Mithu's wing hit Amma's favourite clay pot. It broke into lots of pieces!

Oh no! Mithu hid behind the curtain. “Maybe nobody will know it was me,” he whispered.

Amma came home and saw the pot. “Gappu! Did you break my pot?” Gappu's ears went pink. “No, Amma!”

Mithu felt a wobble in his tummy. It wasn't fair for Gappu to get the blame. He flew out. “Amma, it was me. I'm sorry.”

Amma smiled. “Thank you for telling the truth, Mithu. Pots can be fixed. Trust is precious.” Together, they made a brand-new pot!

Moral of the story: Telling the truth takes courage — and it makes people trust you.
