A new mission appears every day. Want to try one right now? Pick any of these — every one is small enough for a toddler and meaningful at any age.
- Say “thank you” to the person who cooks your food.Let them say it at the table, looking at the cook.
- Share a toy or a snack with someone today.Praise the sharing, not the toy: “That was so kind!”
- Help set the table for a meal.Spoons and napkins are perfect first jobs.
- Give someone in your family a big hug.Ask them who needs a hug the most today.
- Say “good morning” to three people.Count them together on your fingers.
- Put your toys back in the box — all by yourself.Make it a race against a two-minute song.
- Draw a picture for someone you love.Help them write the person's name on it.
- Water a plant (with a grown-up).Talk about how plants need care, just like people.
- Say “please” every time you ask for something today.A gentle “What's the magic word?” works wonders.
